Speaker Bio
Dr Shamini Kara is a registered Homeopathic Practitioner in Johannesburg. She runs her private practice, “Juniper Healing” from the Blubird Medical Centre in Atholl. She is a member of the Aude Sapere South Africa Group, a collective of Homeopaths, trained under Dr Gyandas Wadhwani, a well-respected practitioner in classical homeopathy. Dr Kara is also a director of the Khula Natural Health Centre, South Africa’s first homeopathic rural primary healthcare facility. Shamini is a mother of two. Having received her first qualification BSoc Science (Marketing) from the University of Natal in 1995, she registered to study for Homeopathy at the University of Johannesburg some 17 years later. She attributes this to her own personal experience having reared two kids (now 17 and 21 years old) with Homeopathic remedies.
