The liver function test is commonly requested by healthcare providers for their

patients. This may be due to the overwhelming importance of the liver in every

day physiological function, but more importantly, it may be due to the

lifestyles of 21 st century humans which negatively impacts the liver and its

functions. In this talk, Dr Marc Passman, a pathologist from Ampath

Laboratories, will explore the different elements of the LFT profile and zoom in

on the biomarkers of alcohol abuse.
